Mark S. Aker, age 59, of Stanchfield died April 6, 2010 unexpectedly at home. A memorial service will be held at4:30 P.M.on Monday, April 12, 2010 at St.Mary’s Lutheran Churchin Kenosha. A time for visiting will be 1 hour prior to the service.
Mark Steven Aker was born March 6, 1951 in Wadena, Minnesota to Virgil and Nellie (Waisanen). He was raised and attended school in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Mark made his home in Stanchfield for the last 17 years. He was a machinist and worked at FMC for 20 years and later worked as a foreman at various other shops. Mark enjoyed the outdoors, bike riding, traveling, golfing, music and movies. He also liked electronics and was very good at fixing things. Mark was a very good dad and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Brianna Clarke of Prior Lake; mother, Nellie Aker of Kenosha; four brothers, Gene Aker of Kenosha, Roger (Tami) Aker of Clear Lake, Keith Aker of Kenosha, Kevin (Stacey) Aker of Kenosha; two sisters, Linda (David) Meller of Kenosha, Sheryl (Rick) Smith of Kenosha; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Aker.
