Kathy M. Gago, age 60, of Maplewood and formerly of Zimmerman, died September 7, 2010 at home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 10th at Sunnyside Free Lutheran Church in Linwood with Pastor Dave Keippela officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Kathleen Mary Gago was born February 17, 1950 in Phillips, Wisconsin to Andrew and Mary (Tadin) Gago. She was raised and attended school in Phillips, graduating from Phillips High School in 1968. She later earned Bachelor of Arts degree in business at Bethel College. Kathy made her home in Zimmerman and delivered for UPS in Chisago and Wyoming for over 13 years. She loved painting, gardening and traveling. Kathy also enjoyed working on crafts.
Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Gago of Phillips, WI; one son, David (Annie) Johnson of Wyoming, MN; three daughters, Rebecca (Bob) Uelmen of Deforest, WI, Sarah (RJ) Reed of Flagstaff, AZ, and Elizabeth (Charlie) Welsh of Wyoming, MN; five brothers, Darrell (Diane) Gago of Tony, WI, Larry (Dorothy) Gago of Turtle Lake, WI, Bob (Mary) Gago of Oshkosh, WI, Mike (Barb) Gago of Phillips, WI, Tony (Vickie) Gago of Phillips, WI; two sisters, Diane (Ron) Tingo of Phillips, WI, Cindy Gago of St. Paul; five grandchildren, Braycen and Davin Johnson, Madeline Uelmen, Abigail Reed and Amelia Welsh; and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew.

I just found out about Kathy’s passing. She was a dear friend to my family and will be greatly missed. She was a great person who brought laughter and love to many. We will miss her.
