Connie Chelberg, age 71, of Cambridge died unexpectedly at her home on December 8, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at First Baptist Church in ST. FRANCISwith Rev. Steve Brower officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in North Isanti Baptist Cemetery.
Connie Chelberg was born March 30, 1939 in the Stanley Community in rural Cambridge to Edwin and Hazel (Twingstrom) Chelberg. She attended Moody School and graduated from Cambridge High School. Connie lived in the Cambridge area her entire life. She was employed at the Cambridge Regional Center retiring after 32 years of service.
Connie enjoyed collecting blue bells and tea cups and saucers and blue glassware. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Patricia and Gloria, taking short tours and trips and traveling with her daughter to baton twirling competitions. Connie also enjoyed becoming a grandmother to her two grandsons. In 2001, Connie moved to Riverwood Village where she made many new friends.
Connie Chelberg died unexpectedly at her home on December 8, 2010 at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 8 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Chelberg and Gloria Pallo.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Wade) Hollister of Zimmerman; 2 grandchildren, Corey (Monica) Hollister of Zimmerman and their 2 daughters, Maleah and Zarah; Cody (Jeannie) Hollister of Princeton; brother-in-law: Tom Pallo of Shoreview; and by many other relatives and friends.

Vickie and family, I am sadden to hear of Connie’s passing. She was always a delight to see and visit with, she spoke alot of her Grandkids, and Great Grandkids. My Mother and I just visited with her and Judy Ellen. I am blessed to have known Connie.
