Jodi,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Shorty. I remember how you talked so highly of Shorty and your family at work.
May your memories give you strength.
May you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.
May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.
Here’s a little saying that I thought I would share with you:
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. May the memories of Shorty help you through this difficult time.
Miss ya Jodi!
Angie

Many years ago I worked with Shorty At Simer Pump Co.
I was eighteen, it was my first job and Shorty was my boss. Shorty was a great guy and we became fast friends. We car pooled together and every morning there was always new trapping story to tell. I worked with Shorty for 6 years and when I left, we lost track of each other. It was very sad to open the paper and read his obituary. I will always remember Shorty as a kind caring friend with a great sense of humor. I thank him for teaching me responsibility and work ethic that I have carried with me for all these years. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
