Mary,
This morning I read Mike’s obituary in the Green Bay Press Gazette. May God bless you and provide you with comfort in this time of sorrow for you and your family. I remember Mike as one of those really nice guys when we were teenagers growing up in Green Bay and going to Premontre High School. I hope that many good memories will give you the strength to get through the days and weeks ahead. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. With sincere sympathy, Dan Baker

I wanted to send my condolences to Mary and the family. Mike and I worked together for almost ten years and I always appreciated his honesty and candor. There was never a time spent with Mike when I didn’t learn something, he was a true gentleman. Mike’s sence of humor was a joy to behold. His love and dedication for his family should be a lesson to all, it was to me. I will miss his smile and his gentle laugh.

Mike and I worked for many years together. As a young man he had great words of wisdom for me whenever I needed or wanted it. In my 20’s he showed me the ropes to being a successful manager and salesman. When I turned 30 he gave me great advice on marriage as he had what I and many considered a fantastic relationship with his wife Mary and their many years of happy marriage. When I had a baby girl he told me to enjoy the younger years as they go by fast with kids. I often remember stories of his kids and how proud of all his kids accomplishments as they grew up and into adults. When it was time to buy a house Mike said the new suburb is Cambridge was the place to be come out and see for yourself. So I did and ended up building my fist house in Cambridge and raising my family. I will remember the stories Mike told me and the lessons he gave. I will miss him but I will remember him always. To Mary and all the kids and family, My heart is sad today and my condolences goes out to your great loss of a great husband and dad.

The Callahan family,
I heard about Mike’s passing earlier today and I just wanted to let you know that I am truly sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike and Mary for many years at Carpet King, and got to know Mike over that time. I found him to be an honest, hard-working, and VERY capable co-worker. I know that Mike took great pride in his family and that you were also a source of joy for him. I am glad that I got a chance to know him. Again, sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Mike. I can remember the good times all of you had at Maricque’s Bar. You were more like family then customers. Mike was always so happy and the life of the party. Those Premontre guys must be causing quite a commotion in heaven right now….I hope heaven is ready for them! Yes, Al died 5 years ago – now he has someone to have a beer with.

Dear Mary and family,
We were saddened to read about the passing of Mike in the GB paper. We fondly remember the days of Gary and Mike being buyers for Pranges and the fun we had with the other young buyers. We also remember the days when you were our neighbors on Hawthorne Place. May you find peace and comfort in the fact that Mike is now an angel looking down on his family. God bless and take care of all of you.
