My deepest sympathies to the entire Remus family. I had the pleasure to spend time with the Remus family through Young Life and school. Mom and Dad Remus had a very strong love for their family and making sure they and their friends had a safe place to go and be together without the bad influences and pressures the outside world so often can inflict on youth. I knew Gerad and Trisha from Princeton HS and spent time with them through Choir, Speech, and classes and met Erik while we were all attending Young Life. They provided not only a safe place for our friends to gather but often went above and beyond. I celebrated the end of our Speech year at their home and enjoyed an after Prom ’95 party complete with hot tub, borrowed clothes and no alcohol. Thank you Remus family for your time and caring, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Remus Family. I had the pleasure of Nelda’s aquaintance through my profession as a city clerk. She was a warm, friendly and especially kind individual with a wealth of knowledge of her profession in municipal government. May her family be comforted in knowing that she is lovingly held in the arms of our Father. Peace be with each of you at this time of sorrow.

I was very surprised and saddened to hear of Nelda’s passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know Nelda through our service together on the Minnesota Women in City Government Board. She was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and patient, especially to new-comers to the local political arena. These attributes and her sweet smile will be sorely missed.
