Audrey Engren, age 65, of Clear Lake died February 11, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 15th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating. A time for visiting will be held from 6:00 P.M. until the service at 7:30. Interment will be in East Bradford Cemetery.
Audrey Marie Engren was born May 10, 1945 in Glenwood, Minnesota to Elvera and John Selix, Sr. Her family later moved to Coon Rapids where she lived her early years. On August 14, 1965 she married Donald D. Engren. They made their first home in Coon Rapids. They lived in Braham for a couple of years and then moved to Blaine where they lived for 29 years. In 2003 they moved to Clear Lake where they have since made their home. Audrey’s love was her family, all of the family activities and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Christine in 2002; by an infant sister; three brothers, Bud, John, Jr. and Dave Selix. She is survived by her husband, Donald of Clear Lake; daughter, Tammy (John) McCreery of Big Lake; son, Don of Blaine; four grandchildren, Lauren, Haley, Austin and Jacob; two brothers, Dewain (Char) Selix of Deer Creek, Mel (Jeanne) Selix of Isanti; one sister, Joice Selix of Blaine; and by many other relatives and friends.
