Jeanette Roeder, age 68, of Isanti died unexpectedly May 27th of a heart attack at her sister’s home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 1st at St. Francis United Methodist Church with Rev. Diane Nelson officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 31st at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel and also one hour prior to the funeral Wednesday at the church. Interment Stanford Cemetery.
Jeanette Ann Roeder was born in Anoka on January 6, 1943 to Philmore and Gertrude Herrboldt. When she was in 3rd grade her family moved to St. Francis. Jeanette graduated from St. Francis High School, Class of 1961. She married Glen Roeder on August 3, 1963 and they made their home in rural Isanti. Jeanette drove school bus for the St. Francis Schools for 35 years, retiring in 2008. She was a member of the St. Francis United Methodist Church and the St. Francis American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, her Bible Study Group, Yoga, going to garage sales, thrift shops and shopping.
Jeanette Roeder died May 27, 2011 unexpectedly of a heart attack at her sister Janet’s home at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 21 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glen in 2008, and two brothers, Doug and Rod Herrboldt.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Mark (Jennee) Roeder of Isanti; one grandson, Hunter Roeder of Isanti; three sisters, Janet (Donnie) Daudt of Isanti, Vira (Mike) Hansen of Isanti, Iva (Steve) Braastad of Anoka; one brother, Dennis Herrboldt of Eden Prairie; and by many other relatives and friends.
