Jerome T. Bruce, age 53, of Cambridge died accidently July 13, 2011 in Brooklyn Park. Memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 23rd at the Fish House with Rev. Howard McCray officiating. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the Fish House in Cambridge.
Jerome Thomas Bruce was born March 13, 1958 in Edina to Donald and Hariette (Kolsrud) Bruce. He was raised in Bloomington and graduated from Kennedy High School, Class of 1976. Jerome has lived in Cambridge since 1993. He was employed as HSST in the METO Program for the State of Minnesota. He was a member of the Fish House in Cambridge and was currently attending Equipped for Life Biblical Training School. Jerome was an avid sportsman and enjoyed sports of all kinds, playing in the church softball league and fishing.
Jerome Bruce died as the result of a construction accident in Brooklyn Park on July 13, 2011 at the age of 53 years and 4 months. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary.
Jerome is survived by his son, Ben (Melissa) Bruce of Cambridge; former wife, Barb Bruce of Cambridge; one sister, Sandra (Greg) Gleisner of Mequon, Wisconsin; one niece; two nephews, one aunt, one uncle; and by many friends.
