Dolores D. Duncan, age 85, of Isanti died November 7, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 atStrike Funeral Home Isanti Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating. Burial will be in St. Ansgar City Cemetery in Iowa.
Dolores Dorothy Duncan was born on May 9, 1926 in St. Ansgar, Iowa to Edward and Thelma (Weiner) Ahlf. She was raised and lived her early years in St. Ansgar. Dolores married Wilfred Duncan and they lived in Iowa until 1957 when they moved to Owatonna, Minnesota. In 1970 they moved to Blaine. Dolores moved to Isanti 3 years ago to be closer to her family. Dolores enjoyed gardening and just being outside. She was an avid bowler and loved her bowling group at Junction Bowl in Isanti.
Dolores Duncan died November 7, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 29 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Ellen and Connie; her husband, Wilfred; 2 sisters, Doris and Gladys.
Dolores is survived by 3 children, Richard (Janelle) Duncan of Green Valley, Arizona, Randy Duncan and Coral of Ham Lake, Carol (Bob) Aaser of Isanti;6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Adelene (Bob) Flowers of South Beloit, Illinois, Marilene Epstein of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; and by many other relatives and friends.

I have many good memories of your mom from growing up. She was always so wonderful to us kids. Going to her house always felt like home an we felt loved. My only wish is that I would have taken a moment out of my busy life and family and taken the time to see her in recent years. My God bless her. She will be missed by many.
