David Lester Peterson, age 56, of Albertville andformerly of Isanti,died January 6, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 9th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Bruce Peterson and Gladys Petersonofficiating. A vistation will be held from Noon until the service at 2:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery at a later date.
David Lester Peterson was born January 4,1956 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Lester and Mary Jean (Keeler) Peterson. The family moved back to Isanti where he was raised and would live most of his life. David graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 1974. On August 26, 1978 he married Debra Servaty and they made their home in Isanti. David served on the Isanti City Council for 4 years and was on the Isanti Fire Department for many years. David fought health issues for several years but he never complained. They spent several winters in South Carolina. David enjoyed fishing, hunting and just being with his brothers, family and friends.
David Peterson passed away January 6, 2012 in Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids at the age of 56 years and 2 days. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles.
David is survived by his wife, Debra of Albertville; two daughters, Amy (Brad) Godfrey of Albertville, Angie (Sebastiano IV) Lisi of Charleston, South Carolina; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; parents, Lester and Mary Jean Peterson; five brothers, Bruce (Pinky), Jeff (Lisa), Joseph (Valerie), Dennis (Marina), Tony (Jen); three 3 sisters, Jean (Dan) Bye, Laura (Scott) Wilson, Jenni (Craig) Miska; and by many other relatives and friends.
