Robert Dusan, age 87, of Taylors Falls,died February 23, 2012 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area #2, with Pastor Clifton Hanson officiating.
Robert Donald Dusan was born December 14, 1924 in Boise, Idaho to Minnie (Malmstrom) and Robert B. Dusan. He was raised and lived his early years in Idaho. He then served in the Army during WWII. After the service he settled in Minnesota and was a long time resident of Taylors Falls. Robert was a person who loved nature, watching the birds and animals. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in the parks. He also enjoyed playing the accordion, gardening and “putzing” in the garage fixing things. He was a people person and loved socializing and would help anyone.
Robert Dusan died February 23, 2012 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 9 days.
Robert is survived by his wife, Julieanne Lieder of Taylors Falls; five children, Donald Dusan and Teri of Maple Grove, Joseph Dusan of Minneapolis, Patti Dusan and Mickie of St. Francis, William Dusan of Maple Grove, Lori Dusan of Isanti; six grandchildren, Debra (Jason) Binczik, Celia and Kyle Tasler, Korrie and Jerimiah Johnson and Jessie Dusan; one sister, Joyce (Larry) Heavrin of Emmett, Idaho; his canine companion, Bella; and by many other relatives and friends.

We cannot understand how any one of your are feeling right now. We have not lost a spouse, a father, the last parent, a friend that close. Our love and prayers go out to Julie, Don, Joe, Patti, Bill, and Lori. We wish we could do more to help, but all we can do is send healing thoughts your way.
