Glenda Reynolds, age 72, of Isanti died March 6, 2012 at Cambridge Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 10th at Elim Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan O’Leary officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Glenda Lou Reynolds was born October 30, 1939 in Swan Creek, Illinois to Ethan and Irene (Hale) Sorrells. She was the fourth of four girls and was raised as a farm girl. Glenda fell in love with Emanuel Reynolds, Jr. and they married on October 29, 1960 in Iowa. They made their home in Minneapolis and then moved to Isanti in 1973. Glenda loved working with her seniors most of her life. She worked senior dining in both Cambridge and Isanti.
Glenda Reynolds died March 6, 2012 at Cambridge Medical Center at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 6 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel in 2003; and by two sisters, Kathleen and Lucille.
God blessed her with six children who survive her, Melinda Green of Minneapolis, James (Chris) Reynolds of Cambridge, Ethan Reynolds and partner, Ed of Minneapolis, Matthew Reynolds of Ashland, Oregon, Monica (Melvin) Torgerson of Ogilvie, Melissa (Pat) Callahan of Cambridge; by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Hensley of Forest, Ill.; and by many other relatives and friends.
