Raymond Dabrowski, age 66, of Dalbo died March 12, 2012 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 16th at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father James David Hahn as Celebrant. A visitation will be held 1/2 hour prior to the service at the church and also from 4 – 8 PM on Thursday, March 15th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Raymond John Dabrowski was born May 21, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Michael and Ann (Werbowski) Dabrowski. He was raised and attended school in northeast Minneapolis. Raymond served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and he was a Purple Heart recipient. On October 5, 1974 Raymond married Sandra Bearl at Holy Cross Catholic Church. They lived in Princeton and then in the Isanti County area for the last 36 years. Raymond worked as a truck driver, welder and mechanic. He was a very handy person who could fix anything. In his younger years he loved racing. Raymond also loved animals and especially his horses. Raymond and his family often participated in horse shows. He also enjoyed classical music.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Sandy; two daughters, Jackie (Terry) Simon of Sandstone, Janelle Dabrowski of Duluth; one brother, Michael Dabrowski Jr., of Minneapolis; two sisters, Joan Dabrowski of Minneapolis, Pat (Loren) Goese of Coon Rapids; three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Michael and Sierra; and by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by an infant sister.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Uncle Bob and I visited a week ago Saturday. Had great times growing up as kids. Can remember when we worked on the truck farm. Now he is at peace and can join the rest of his family members. Love you! Your cousin Mary Ann
