Ronald Fleischer obit photoRonald Fleischer, age 54, ofIsanti died May 21, 2012 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 25th at Long Lake Lutheran Church in Isanti with Rev. Matt Flom officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 24th at the church and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Ronald Lee Fleischer was born November 26, 1957 in Rochester to Mary Hegge. He was adopted by Harry and Doloras Fleischer. He lived his early years in Minneapolis and then the family moved to Oak Grove. Ron graduated from St. Francis High School, Class of 1975. He married Carol Englund on September 14, 1985 and they have made their home in Isanti. Ronald owned and operated Speedy Copy Printing and Graphics in Ramsey. He was an avid fan of dirt track racing, car owner, pit crew and sponsor. He loved his animals, doing yard work, gardening, hunting and traveling. Ronald loved his family and his girls were the light of his life.

Ronald Fleischer died May 21, 2012 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 25 days. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Doloras and Harry Fleischer.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of Isanti; 2 daughters, Kendra and Kaitlin Fleischer both of Isanti; his birth mother, Mary Hegge of Rochester; mother and father-in-law, Jean and Kenneth Englund of Isanti; and by many other relatives and friends.

    There are no words say how sorry we are about Ron’s passing. But it’s because he was such a special man that it hurts so much. We have been blessed to have had him as a friend. He was always so kind and fun to be around. So many good memories!

  3. Ron was a fantastic Father, Husband and friend. We will all miss him and cherish the times we shared with him. I am thankful to have known Ron and though I am sorry he is gone I am glad he is no longer in pain! God Speed Friend !!

  4. My heart hurts for your wonderful family. In the 24 hours since I found out of Ron’s passing, I’ve had many thoughts and emotions. He was such a beautiful man who was always, always, with his family. I admired your family’s commitment to fun and love. As you know, I joked that you were the “Dolphin Family,” always together, always… I believe he will still always be with you. He made a positive impact on all who knew him. Bless you during this difficult time.

  5. When I was 16 I had been working on race cars for a couple of years and wanted my own. My brother Tommy brought me over to see Ron because he had a car. My parents would’nt let me buy it, but I have known Ron ever since. He was a sponsor, a neighbor, I even worked for him for a short time when I needed work.He had a passion for racing only rivaled by his passion for his family. You are a friend to so many and will be remembered by all that you touched. Godspeed

    We only have been around the racing community a short time, but we were so lucky to have met one of the best supporters ever. He was very dedicated to racing but more so to his “girls”. The 3 of you were is all in all. The saddness you feel will someday turn into happiness knowing that he is by your side each and every day. Thank you for sharing him with us. Find peace and comfort in all the memories that hold in your heart.

  8. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Ron’s wife and daughters.

    I knew Ron from the old Microsoft Money message boards. He was a gentleman and fun to talk with. I will miss his stock expertise but even more his sense of humor. I’m sure God is discussing the new Face Book IPO with Ron.

  9. My heart goes out to you Carol,Kendra,and Kaitlin. He will be greatly missed at the race tracks and in the Bradford, Mn area. He loved all three of you dearly. Just like dirt track racing and Nascar. I am so grateful that he gave me the opportunity to work for him at Speedy Copy to give me the experience to move forward in the printing business. We had great times at the shop especially when we were deciding who was gonna be the go-pher to Pizza Man to save money on tip cost vs delivery charge!!! He will be Watching Over You Three Always… I believe a Bell Rang somewhere when he was called to Heaven. No more pain.. God Bless All Three of you…GodSpeed

I will be in Michigan and unable to attend his visitation and funeral, but know that you are in my thoughts and I am with you in spirit.

  15. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ron. He and his father were always so generous with their printing when it came to several organizations that I have been involved with, but mostly with the Christimas Committee project. His generousity always showed when it came time for our printing needs. I will think of him often when that project rolls around this year.

  16. I was so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I used to work in the bay behind Speedy Copy at Quail Manufacturing. Ron was always smiling. I can truly agree with the fact that his girls were the light of his life. We talked about our kids and I met his a few times. (When they were at work with dad). You were all blessed to have such a wonderful husband & dad. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
