Debbie A. Fillbrandt, age 54, of Circle Pines died of cancer October 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 2nd at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Clifton Hanson officiating. A time for visiting will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Debbie Ann Fillbrandt was born September 7, 1958 in St. James to Darrell and Vida Zea. She was raised and lived her early years in southern Minnesota. When Debbie was in her teens she moved to the Twin Cities. She married Kim Sandvig and they made their home in Anoka County and became the parents of one daughter, Tisha. They later divorced. On April 30, 1983 she married David Fillbrandt and they have made their home in Circle Pines. Debbie was employed by Health East in St. Paul. She was very family orientated and enjoyed all of the family activities and taking short trips to the North Shore. She also enjoyed crocheting, antiquing and camping.
Debbie died of cancer on October 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul at the age of 54 years, 1 month and 21 days. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Vida and daughter, Tisha Kirkendall.
She is survived by her husband, David of Circle Pines; 2 children, Joshua (Kerry) Fillbrandt of Blaine, Chelsey Fillbrandt of Blaine; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kiaunna and Keven Kirkendall; father, Darrell Zea of Slayton; brothers, Jeff Zea of Slayton, Gary (Jodi) Zea of Mountain Lake, Mike Zea of Lakefield; father-in-law, Jack (Fay) Wyttenbach of California; and by many other relatives and friends.

I’m Debbie’s granddaughter. When my younger brother and I went to her house, most of the time she would have gives for us there. I have always trusted her ever since my mom (Tisha) died. When I heard that she had died my family and I bursted into tears into tears. I am very glad that she is barred right next to my mom. And I am also glad that I still get to go to her house and spend some and more time with grandpa Dave. I love you grandma Debbie!! You and Grandpa are always in my heart!!
