Brad, Russ & Kris, Nick & Meghan, Zack…
I felt so bad for you when I heard the news. But then I started thinking, what would I have wanted if I were Orv. I think his being with your Mother now and not hurting any more and not having to spend time in that darn hospital has changed my feeling bad into rejoicing for Orv’s family. Two very nice young men, one of whom is my son-in-law, will sadly say good-by but somehow we will all remember all the good times. Love, Mom

Mom told me about your loss. I remember that very nice, patient, tall man who was here at Thanksgiving time. Comfort comes from love. Love comes from comfort. Love and Comfort to the family, Bro, Jon
Russ & Kristine says
Dad,
Your days of struggle are over now. What remains are the great memories of pancake Sundays, family gatherings and “fish house” jokes.
We will miss seeing your lights on in the house next door, knowing you were safe at home.
Madison, Dance, Midnight and Snowball will miss the table scraps and the mandatory “three pets”.
We hope you are in a place with perpetual 100 bushel corn, clean fields of beans and 39 cent gas.
Kristine will miss cooking for you and your enthusiasm for food.
Your memory will live on in anyone who shared any time with you and listened to your stories…again and again.
Miss you Dad…we love you.
Russ & Kristine
Leeann says
What a blessing to have had such a kind and generous man for my uncle. I can’t recall how many times over the years that he thought of our family and gave us produce of some sort. I’ll always remember his warm personality and twinkling eyes. Ready with a great sense of humor. He was always interested in us and concerned for our welfare. If any one of us was ill or something happened he would ask about us and show he cared. I will deeply miss him. Much Love and thanks, Leeann, Nathan, Marissa & Ryan

Brad, Russ, and family,
I’m sorry to hear the passing of Orville. Between all the farming stories told between Orville and Dad over the years, Orville will be forever farming in my thoughts and memories of him.
Sincerely,
Roger Johnson

Orville’s passing brings back memories of the many thoughts we shared about farming and the good life, watching you boys growing up, plus sharing time with your mom. May you find peace in knowing that your dad touched many lives in a wonderful way. May God be with you and surround you in His love during this time.
