Andrew Englund, age 24, died accidently on December 21, 2012. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Long Lake Lutheran Church in rural Isanti with Rev. Matt Flom officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 26th from 4 – 8 P.M. AT THE CHURCH. There will also be a visitation 1 hour before the service on Thursday at the church.
Andrew James Englund was born in Cambridge on January 22, 1988 to Jim and Wendy Englund. Andy was raised in Bradford and graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School, Class of 2006. He was presently employed by Rachel Contracting in North Dakota and he really enjoyed his job. Andy was a nature lover and enjoyed the outdoors. He spent many hours feeding the deer and preparing the land for the deer. He loved hunting, fishing and vintage snowmobile racing. He belonged to the Long Lake Vintage Snowmobile Racing Group. He also raced stock cars and won Championships in both Stock Car and Snowmobile races. Andy is now with his friend, B.J., at the Finish Line.
Andy Englund died as the result of an auto accident in Sherburne County on December 21, 2012 at the age of 24 years, 10 months and 29 days. Andy was preceded in death by grandparents, Don and Vi Schultz and his uncle, Jay Schultz.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Wendy Englund of Isanti; brother, Jay and Amanda Englund of Isanti; grandparents, Kenny and Jean Englund of Isanti; by friend, Jenny, and by many other relatives and friends.
