Maurice Richard Olson, age 78, of Princeton died February 13, 2013 at the Anoka Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, February 19th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Maurice Richard Olson is survived by four children; Mark Olson, Kurt Olson, Lori (Tim) Gobel, and Lisa Michalik (Mitchell White); one sister, Shirley (Dwight) Newport; five grandchildren, Adam (Rochelle), Taylor, Jessica, Mara and Alex; one great-granddaughter, Evelyn, and one on more great-granddaughter on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Nellie Olson; son, Daniel; former spouse, Evelyn Olson; and two sisters, Joyce Miller and Beatrice Crapser.
Dear Mark, Kurt,Lori and Lisa, sorry we cannot be there but, love you much….We have so many memories of your Dad…of at this time they are all very special. Uncle Dick tried to catch ” old Morris” when he would be in Princeton….he wasn’t home much….Hug each other from us…love Auntie Karyn
