Teresa Hanold, age 67, of Braham died September 18, 2013 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 24th at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham with Father Wagner as Celebrant. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Teresa was born March 2, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was raised and attended school in Minneapolis. On January 19, 1967 Teresa married Robert Hanold and they made their home in Minneapolis until moving to Stacy in 1979. In 1990 they moved to a farm in rural Braham. Teresa enjoyed Bowling and sewing. She was an active member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham. She also volunteered and served others through the Braham Moose Lodge and VFW.
She is survived by two sons, Donald and Richard; one grandson, Paul; one great-granddaughter, Starr; and by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reese and Cleo (Ramirez) Nelson; husband, Robert; and sister, Mary.
I’ve known treasa for many years. she will be missed by many,especialy by Star.

It has been 15+years since I saw her. We were camping at Bent Trout Lake. Teresa was Linwood Township’s first woman Town Board Supervisor from 1983-1988. She worked very hard for the seniors-senior center, handicapped van, food shelf and events for the teen.
My mom was a very great lady she touched many people she will be missed Thk u for all of the support
