Beth R. Woolridge, age 49, of Isanti died November 25, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 30th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating. A visitation will be held from Noon until the service at our Cambridge Chapel. Burial will be in Strike Cemetery.
The greatest New Year’s Day celebration for her family in International Falls came in 1964, when Beth made her appearance as the first baby born in the New Year to Orrie “Dean” and Marlyce “Dolly” Morlan. She grew up in South Falls and attended schools with the class of 1982.
She was united in marriage to her husband, Myron, in 1997 and they made their home in Isanti. Together they owned and operated Isanti Electric. Beth’s greatest accomplishments were her five children. Her sons, Roy and Jake, and daughters, Crystal, Melissa and Abby, were the joy of her life. Her grandson, Carson, was the newest glisten in her eye.
Beth’s talents were numerous. She was an unbelievably gifted crafter; her gardens were known throughout the neighborhood as “thee place to visit “ and she hosted unbelievable parties, the best being her Halloween bashes, followed closely by her pool parties. If persuaded, she would sing her favorite song “Out Behind The Barn”, much to her guests delight!
Beth opened her home and her heart to many of her nieces and nephews, being their “surrogate” mom. She and Myron served as a host family to a member of the Owls Hockey Team and were very active supporters.
We would like to thank the efforts and care of the Isanti Fire District, the Isanti County Sheriff Dept., and the Allina Ambulance Service.
Beth passed into the arms of Jesus unexpectedly on Monday, November 25, 2013, at her home at the age of 49 years, 10 months and 24 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lenora.
Until Beth sees them again, she leaves behind her husband, Myron, her five children: Roy (Randy) Morlan of Largo, FL, Crystal (Brent) Roseth of Anoka, Jacob (Sherry) Morlan of Cambridge, Melissa (Adam) Woolridge of Duluth, Abby (Jacob) Woolridge of Isanti. She is also survived by three sisters and a brother, who lovingly nicknamed her “Buffy”: Georgia Shaff of Eveleth, Sandy (Mark) Gorrill of Embarrass, Randy (Amy) Morlan of Intl. Falls, and Mary (Terry) Morse of Grand Rapids, brother-in-law Ren Loney of Intl. Falls, and numerous nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Carol Woolridge of Morris, MN, as well as numerous extended relatives.

Myron and family, my heart goes out to you all in the loss of your Beth. I didn’t know her but felt like I did from the bantering back and forth she and Myron did on Facebook. I would love to have met her as she seemed to be a fun, caring, genuinely real person. I know losing her will leave a painful hole in many hearts. Please try to remember the good, not so good and all the in-betweens that made up your relationships with her. She will always live on in your hearts. Every once in a while when you’re not expecting it, something will happen or you’ll do or say something and later you’ll think ‘that was Beth’ or ‘that was Mom’. She’ll always be a part of your thoughts and actions. I wish for you Faith, Hope and Love and may you always feel them at work in your lives. Until all are together again, please know you are not alone. ~ Lisa ~

So sorry to hear of Beth’s passing, I was a classmate of Beth’s and had many classes together. Unfortunately I have not seen Beth since graduation but had talked to her on FB and talked to her about classmates and old times. Everything I have read about her from friends and family sure makes me wish I could of saw her again, it sounds like she was a very kind and caring person, just like I remember her. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I thank her for the beautiful cards she enjoyed making, for her smile and amazing giggle. I thank her for putting up with my brother, I know it wasn’st always easy. And I love her for being nobody but her. She was a very proud Mother of all her children and mostly of her grandson, she stated in a card of the joy she felt because she was a grandma. I never had the pleasure of meeting Beth’s “city” family, but I knew Beth in the Falls along with Roy & Jake. Our kids played together & Beth was part of the gang. Funny, warm, she could jitterbug with the best. She was beautiful in all the ways that mattered, a good friend, confidant and buddy. My deepest sympathy to the family & to all of us who will miss Beth’s humor, warmth and giggle.
Kate Lindstrom (Paulsen) says
Beth was such a wonderful woman, always a smile on her face and welcoming to everyone. I used to babysit for her and at one point in time when I was 13 and had gotten in trouble, she babysat me! I have such great and fun memories of her. She will be missed…..

As a new neighbor and just recently meeting Beth and Myron, I saw a loving couple that I was looking forward to the years ahead and getting to know them. Beth and I talked about sitting on her porch and having coffee together, unfortunately that hadn’t happened yet. Myron~ I’m so sorry for your loss. Please let us know if we can do anything for you and your family, we’re just across the street and I’m home everyday. Many prayers sent…. Julie (763-607-3699)

Dear Myron and family-
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family during this difficult time. I don’t remember this, but as Beth’s slightly older cousin (by 2 years), I apparently named my first doll after her- I called her “Baby Beffy”….She must have made an impression on me right from the start! I am saddened that I will not be able to make it to the service, but know that my thoughts will be with you and all our extended family on Saturday.
May you all find peace in your wonderful memories of Beth, and may you feel God’s loving arms around you during the days ahead.
Love,
cousin Jennie (Appleton, WI)

I was so sorry to hear of your loss through Mikey. My heart go’s out to you all. Not ever having met Beth, after reading the other guestbook entries, she sounds like a very special person. Take it one day at a time. If that’s to much then one hour. Sounds like you have lots of family and friends. Lean on them! FAITH lean on faith even more. Faith, Family and Friends. Don’t know what i would of done without them. I listen to a radio station that has helped me so VERY VERY much. KTIS 98.5. i haven’t turned it off since Aug 29. Call when ever you want to talk. I pray for all of you comfort, strength and some sort of peace. May God be with you all.

Nyquist Family says
Dear Myron and family,
It was such an honor to be a friend and neighbor of Beth’s. When our family first moved to the neighborhood, Beth welcomed us with open arms. Her spirit was so warm and friendly. Beth was always outside soaking up the beauty of the earth. Her gardens were out of this world. Beth never ceased the opportunity to waive when we would be outside or driving by. Anytime we would visit Beth, she always acknowledge the kids and how beautiful and big they were getting. Just a couple weeks ago, Beth and I were messaging via Facebook in regards to our son Cody and she gloated about him. This tells you what kind of a mother she is. Beth had the biggest heart ever, and it showed with her support of the children of the neighborhood, whether it be to support a cub scout with ordering a Christmas wreath or ordering from the kids school fundraiser. I can hear her now, Beth calling the dogs name, Taco or Paco (I honestly never knew, lol) I can see Beth in heaven now, making the gardens up there beautiful and wont god be in for a big surprise come Halloween time. She will have it decorated to the hilt.
Please know we are thinking of you Myron and family. Beth will be greatly missed!
Big hugs to you,
Karl, Karen, Cody, Zachary and Emily Nyquist
