Anna Holine (Rask) was born October 26, 1923 in Isanti, Minnesota to Andrew and Emma (Hamren) Rask. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1941. In 1942, Anna married Wilford Holine while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. They began their marriage in Fridley, raised their family for 25 years in Isanti, and finally retired to their log home in Stanchfield (built by Wilford and family) 38 years ago. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage before Wilford passed away in 2011.
Anna worked with special needs children for Cambridge State School and the Cambridge School District until her retirement. She was very active in her church at Elim Baptist, in Isanti, serving as Sunday school teacher, music committee and choir member, and much more. She carried on her parents’ strong faith in Christ, instilling those truths in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her love of music, which included singing with The Grandma Trio, was a big part of her life. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

Anna and I worked together. Years ago at the State Hospital and remained friends through
the years. She was one of the sweetest people I ever knew and so enjoyed visiting with her.
It was so special when she came to our 50th anniversary party. I will miss her, but now she is
with Wilford. God bless them both. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
