Sherry Bockoven, age 68, of Isanti died January 2, 2014 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 11th at our Isanti Chapel with Rev. Earl Lassen officiating. Friends may call 1 hour before the service on Saturday.
Sherry was born in Rush City, MN, on February 21, 1945 to Kenneth & Virginia Loren (Hensch). She grew up in Grandy, MN and in 1953 moved to Champlain, MN and graduated from Anoka High School.
She was a house wife, waitress, cook, pull tab lady and an awesome mother of 6. Sherry had been an active person in Isanti & surrounding the communities for many years. In 1986, she started working for the Rum River VFW Post 2735 in Isanti. She was a life time member for the posts Ladies Auxiliary and she had served as Sr. VP. Sherry was also an active participant for the color guard. Sherry loved crocheting, puzzles, playing pool, and all her friends.
Sherry Bockoven died January 2, 2014 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West in Cambridge at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 12 days. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Loren; daughter, Kathy; son, Kenneth Brown.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Virginia; sister, Roxanne; brother, James; daughter, April; sons, William, Harry and Jason; 14 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids.
