Chad Hanson, age 35, of Ham Lake died suddenly March 1, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 7th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in East Bethel with Rev. Dan Nordin officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time at the church on Friday.
Chad J. Hanson was born October 25, 1978 in Fridley. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1997 and went on to work for Budget Exteriors as a general manager. Chad became proud business owner of Hanson Home Improvements in May 2011. Chad had a heart of gold, sharing bits and pieces with everyone he met. He was nourished by goodness, fostered by kindness, blessed with grace, and filled with brightness. Chad will be remembered and loved more than ever imaginable.
Chad passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the age of 35. He was preceded in death by cousin, Travis Hanson; grandmother, Thelma Hanson; uncle, Michael Wakeling; and grandfather, Clement Stine.
Left to cherish Chad’s memory are beloved fiancée, Rikki Boen; son, Caleb Hanson; daughter, Cally Hanson; father, Jerry (Cherie) Hanson; mother, Peggy Hanson; brother, Nathan Hanson; stepbrother, Todd Olson; stepsister, Paula Troye; grandfather, Gaylord Hanson; grandmother, Muriel Stine, and by many other loving family members and longtime friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Chad Hanson’s Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.

We remember a young man who opened his home and treated us like family. I don’t recall ever seeing him without a smile on his face. He was just a down to earth good man. We will miss him and pray for all of those whom he touched.
