Wanda L. Olson, age 55, of Isanti died January 21, 2015 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 26th at Strike Funeral Home – CAMBRIDGE Chapel. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the service at 7:00 P.M. Monday at our Cambridge Chapel.
Wanda Lou Olson was born August 17, 1959 in Orrock, Minnesota to Donald and Mavis (Melser) Hufstedler. She was raised and attended school in Bethel, Minnesota until age 10, and then at Westville, Indiana until moving back to Minnesota 10 years later. In 1984 Wanda married Daniel Olson and they have made their home mostly in the Cambridge – Isanti area.
Wanda worked in the customer service field for several years. She greatly enjoyed her work with helping others, which was her nature all around. Wanda went above and beyond caring for others and was thought of by many as their “second mom”. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting and especially spending time with her grandsons.
Wanda passed away unexpectedly January 21, 2015 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital at the age of 55 years, 5 months and 4 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and by six siblings, Dennis, Caroline, Tom, Ken, Bill and Jim.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Daniel; son, Dennis Vann; daughter, Wendy Olson; brother, Danny (Cindy) Hufstedler; three sisters, Penny (Perry) Ziegelmeier, Diana (Don) Wilson, Pearl (Jim) Williams; two grandsons, David Vann and Dalton Olson; and by many other relatives and friends.

I worked with Wanda for years and that’s how I met her and Wendy and became friends. Wanda was like another mother to me. She will be dearly missed. I wish I could be at the service but being in CO I can’t make the trip. Wendy, please know my heart is there….. As well as my thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Love you and God bless!!!!!
