We met Greg vintage racing in 1997. Always looked forward to talking to him and enjoyed the vintage photos he would e-mail. He will be greatly missed!

Greg and I had many conversations about his son’s racing and how my grandson was doing and how we could get him interested in racing. We also talked about work and the changes that are happening. It now seems ironic that we would talk about what comes after the city. I wish now that we would not have put off the cookouts we had talked about. Deb and I will both miss Greg . I will think about him every time I drive by the turn off to his home.

Donna and I will miss Greg’s infectious smile and personality. I recently had a conversation with Greg about when it would be that either of us would retire. He told me that time was getting very close for him, and now it saddens me that he didn’t get to enjoy many years of leisure doing those things in life he enjoyed the most.
RIP my friend.

My dear friend has just taken his last checkered flag. Words cannot express how much I will miss you Greg. My life is so much richer for your friendship! I have no doubt we will get together again in that better place. I’ll try not to hurry tho’ as we know you will be the FIRST to greet us. I will carry your presence with me for the rest of my life here on earth. Adios my friend! Adios…….

Greg would take the time to visit with me and other 13th ward (city garage) personnel. He was very enlightening and shared pictures and stories of his family. A great man, no bad bone in him. A joy to have worked with and been a friend of Gregs’. Another of the great people that made my time with the city so enjoyable. Dean Suneson – Mechanic / Harriet shop – retired
