Merle Lyle Frantz, age 74, of Cambridge and formerly of Anoka, died February 16, 2015 at GracePointe Gables East. A memorial gathering will be held from Noon until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, MARCH 7th at the Anoka American Legion, Post 102, 400 West Main Street, Anoka.
Merle Lyle Frantz, 74, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at GracePoint Crossing Care Center in Cambridge, Minnesota.
Merle was born on May 2, 1940, in Grow Township, Anoka County, Minnesota to William and Helen Frantz.
Merle is survived by his 2 daughters, Robin (David) Worlie, and Heather Younglove; his ex-wife, Jerlyn K. Frantz; grandchildren, Marissa and Ethan Worlie; brothers John (Wilma) Frantz, Gerald Frantz, and sister Roseanne (Peter) Anderson.
Merle is preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Frantz; brothers Glenn Wolfe, James Frantz, and William Frantz, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Sally Frantz.
An informal Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Anoka American Legion at 400 West Main Street, Anoka, Minnesota, from 12 noon – 3 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather for fellowship and share their stories of Merle.
Such a larger than life presence. He’s already missed.
