Dorothy Midlo, age 86, of Isanti died March 18th, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 21st at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. Dorothy was born January 29, 1929 in Minneapolis to Oivan and Lillian (Johnson) Oine. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School. After high school she had a few office jobs and then met Amby Midlo, when he returned from the war. They married and had five children; Lee, Michael, Pat, John and Jean. Dorothy was raised with strong family values and she stayed true to her foundations. She was very devoted to her family. She loved to have family and friends stop by at any time of the day and especially about 5:00 to chat for a bit and then enjoy her home cooked dinner. Dorothy celebrated every milestone along the way, especially with her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her turkey, chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bars will be missed. Our dear sweet mom will always be with us in our hearts. Here’s to you Dorothy!
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Ambrose (Amby) Midlo; brothers, Johnathan Oine, Donald Oine and Karl Oine; grandson, Jonathan Midlo.
Dorothy was loved and will be dearly missed by her loving children, Lee (Pati) Midlo, Michael (JaRae) Midlo, Pat Midlo, John Midlo, Jean (Paul) Handel; her precious grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, David, Angela, Teigan, Crystal, Jamie, Ashley and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Devon, Dominic, Sawyer, Ava and Clair; sister, Judy Oine; sisters-in-law, Lila Oine and Nadine Oine; and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Sorry to hear of your loss. With Joyce gone, keeping track of family friends is difficult. We have so many pictures of Dorothy and Joyce in their youth – where did the time go. Take comfort in your memories.
