Craig Fixell, age 67, of Blaine died June 3, 2015 at North Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 7th at Long Lake Lutheran Church, 3921 277th Ave NW, Isanti with Rev. Matt Flom officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Craig Allen Fixell was born March 6, 1948 in Minneapolis to Ted and Shirley (Holmes) Fixell. He was raised in Robbinsdale and graduated from Robbinsdale High School, Class of 1966. On September 22, 1978 he married Sandra Mohart. They lived in Blaine most of their married life. Craig enjoyed fishing and he loved going “up North”.
Craig passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2015 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted. Craig is survived by his wife, Sandra; mother, Shirley Fixell; children, Brian (Danielle) Fixell, Carolynn (Kent) Kiewatt; step-son, Kirk Haugan; 6 grandchildren, Claire, Allison, Lucas, Emily, Alixandra, Joseph; and many other relatives and friends.
Shirley, Sandra and family, so very sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. We haven’t seen him in quite a while, but have enjoyed his Facebook posts.
We will not be able to attend the funeral because Ted is laid up with a broken leg and shoulder. You all are in our thoughts and prayers as you face life without Craig.
