The last time I saw you was when I dropped Alivia off after preschool. That day at preschool alivia and all her class mates where hard core into paper airplanes, and all I did that day was make paper airplanes. The whole time, livie kept telling me and her classmates “my daddy makes the best airplanes and they fly for a long time.” She was so proud of the fact! The whole car ride home she must of asked me a million times, ” when we get home will you stay and make paper airplanes with me, and daddy.” I told her yes! When we got home finally, we sat out on the deck for almost an hour making Chris fold airplane after airplane and flying them around the yard. She was so proud of her daddy’s airplane making abilities, it just melted my heart! Chris even tried to show me how to, but I just couldn’t get it, and he thought it was hilarious! I miss you bunches Chris, but I know now Janine, alivia, and baby have an angel watching over them. Rest in peace friend, and I love you.

When Chris and Neene decided to go to Las Vegas, they didn’t realize that we had already booked. Dad dropped them off at the airport, and we all flew back home in March, 2015.
While there, Chris and Neen explored Las Vegas, and when we got there the next day spend time with them until we flew home. Chris was blown away about the shark tank at the Golden Nugget, and we brought Neene to see it the next day. Chris ratteled off all of the names of the sharks, and gave us a lesson in Sharkcology.
Looking back, Steve and I are glad we got to spend time with them at Vegas. It is something that will never happen again, and makes us appreciate more with everything that has happened since.

Chris always considered me family. He always called me “sis” and I always called him “bro”. He was always welcoming, laughs, and pure silliness that always cheered me up. He also adored Alivia, oh so much. My heart is completely over this tragedy. I don’t doubt he will be watching over his family. He has touched so many people’s lives in a short amount of time- his time was not wasted. Love you bro.

I have so many great memories of Chris. From snowboarding in the U P to introducing me to paintball Chris knew how to live on the wild side and have a good time . I had not spoke to Chris in several years but happened to run into him last Fri night at a work party. I have to think it was for a reason even if I didn’t realize it I was getting my chance to say goodbye. I thought of Chris ,Neener and Alivia often and now can only wish I hadn’t let us grow so far apart. You will be missed my friend but I know your up there with that same smile on your face watching over us. RIP my friend
