Carrol Strandlund, age 78, of East Bethel died November 6, 2015 at FairviewLakes Hospital in Wyoming. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 10th at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. There will also be a visitation AT THE CHURCH on Monday, November 9th from 4 – 7 PM.
Carrol Marine Strandlund was born September 7, 1937 in Grasslake Township to John and Henrietta Lucht. Carrol and her husband Vern made their home on a farm in East Bethel, MN with their three sons. Carrol was a wonderful farm cook, devoted grandma, piano teacher, and church organist and choir director.
Carrol passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 6, 2015 at the age of 78 years, 1 month, and 29 days. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Henrietta Lucht, and brother Elmer.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Vern; sons, Steve Sr., Curt (Diane), and Mark; grandchildren Kristin (Sean), Katie, Steve Jr. (Kayti), Kyle (Nikki), Kelli (Josh), Ashley, Allison, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Easton, Madeline, and Hayden; sister Viola Mae; nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends. The family gives a special thank you to Kim Prescott for her special care.

Carrol was my piano teacher when I was in 3rd grade until 7th grade. She was the kindest lady, had a passion for music. I’m so grateful she was able to share her musical talent with me. To this day I still play piano and think the memories of going to her house for lessons. My prayers are with your family!

Vern and family, you are all in my prayers. It is hard to loose someone you love so much but it is a celebration that Carroll is now in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
