Donald “Don” Wicklacz, age 83, of Cedar was born on February 22, 1933 in St. Paul, MN. He passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Cape Coral, FL.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Marjorie; children Allyn (Myra) Wicklacz, Roxanne Wicklacz, and Tammy (Darryl) Hammann; grandchildren Jamie, Corey, Shelby, Sydney Wicklacz; and extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Don grew up in Isanti with humble beginnings and graduated from Cambridge high school. After high school Don served in the Navy and then graduated from Minnesota School of Business. Don met Marjorie at Pine Camp dance hall in 1956 and they were married soon after. Don raised his family in Columbia Heights, MN and he and his wife started Ace Chemical Products in the late 70’s. The company grew over the years and was very successful; they managed it together through their retirement in 1996. He lived in Cedar, MN the last 24 years. Don loved gardening, fishing, going south for the winter, playing Texas Hold Um, going to garage sales, and spending time with his family and friends. Don enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all.

Darryl, Tammy and the entire “Wicklacz” family, my deepest condolences. I have thought of you often this week and have hoped the cherished memories bring some comfort and smiles through the tears and heartache.
Special thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Tammy, I’m so sorry for the unexpected loss of your Dad. Although no words can really help to ease your loss, know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Darryl, Tammy & the entire Wicklacz family. The loss of a parent is something that is hard to describe and even harder to handle. Tammy, everyone knows I like to give Darryl a hard time and refer to him as my other brother Darryl, who does not like anyone; well with the exception of you and the dogs. With that said, I do know he loved and respected your Dad immensely. Children reflect the strength and love of their parents and family circle. I never had the honor of meeting Mr. Wicklacz, but he must have been an exceptional man because Darryl & Tammy are an extension of his character. My heart is with you at this sad time. Be strong!
Tammy, Darryl, and the entire Wicklacz family, please know that you have been in my thoughts this week. Tammy, I know that Darryl respected and loved your father immensely and always cherished the time you all spent together as a family. I am hopeful that as the sadness fades you all will be able to reflect on the very special time you spent together. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Tammy , Darryl and the entire Wicklacz family, my heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. I know that there are no words that can take away the pain of such a tremendous loss. Please just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Marge, Roxanne and the rest of the family our deep felt sympathy to you all. We have been neighbors of Don’s and Marge’s for the last 24 years. Don would always stop by on his 4 wheeler during the summer and share his garden harvest with us. Sometimes we would find treats on the front step when we arrived home from work. For the last couple years Don has came over and made potato sausage with us. We will miss his company, quick wit and his jokes. We are sad we didn’t get to see you one more time but so happy to hear you had a good day before you left for your next adventure. I hope the family knows how much Don will be missed. Prayers to you all and may happy memories ease your pain some.
