Paula Jensen Hoffman, age 52, of Cedar, died at her home on March 28, 2016 after a battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in East Bethel with Rev. Dan Nordin officiating. Friends may gather one hour before the service at the church.
Paula Marie Jensen Hoffman was born in Hennepin County on September 22, 1963, daughter of Einer and Lois (Hanson) Jensen. She was raised on the family farm in Stanchfield with her mom, dad and two sisters. Paula graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 1982. On April 23, 1994 she married Randy Hoffman at home in Cedar. Paula worked in the family business, Hoffman Brothers Sod in East Bethel. She enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling, ice fishing and in younger years, skiing.
Paula passed away March 28, 2016 at home at the age of 52 years, 6 months and 6 days. Paula was preceded in death by her father, Einer Jensen and her sister, Kathy Jensen Bohman.
She is survived by her husband, Randy; five children, Chris (Amber) Carlson of Isanti, Russ (Christine) Carlson of Foley, Mindy (Tony) Myers of Brooklyn Center, Ryan (Anna) Hoffman of Blaine, Dustin Hoffman of Elk River; 17 grandchildren; mother, Lois Jensen of Cambridge; sister, Cindy Jensen of St. Cloud; brother-in-law, Bob Bohman of Isanti; and by many other relatives and friends.
Heaven has gained another angel. RIP Paula Hoffman you are free from the cancer and pain. Prayers to the Hoffman, Jensen, and Carlson families. She was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul and she will be deeply missed.

Paula, I guess we can never prepare ourselves to say goodbye to the people we love, and so I won’t say goodbye, only that I love you, and I’m so greatful to have had you in my life,you have been a great sister! My love for you will remain everyday, along with my pain of missing you. I will look forward to the day we meet again my beautiful sister,please give Dad, Kathy, and Nolan a Angle kiss from me.
