Ron, I happened across this poem today and thought of you:
One or the other must leave
One or the other must stay
One or the other grieves
This is forever the way.
This is the vow that was sworn
Faithful ’till death do us part
Braving what has to be borne
Hiding the ache in the heart.
One how so-ever adorned
First will be summoned away
This is the will of the Lord
One of the other must stay.
Donna Olson says
Sandy brought so many gifts to our lives, we will never forget her.

I just learned of Sandy’s passing today. I worked with her nearly 10 years ago, but saw her this last Spring. She of course, remembered my kids and asked about them, and we chatted like no time had gone by – like old friends. She had a great way of making people feel that way. It’s been a long time.. But I will share with you as some who worked with her everyday for five years… She LOVED her family. I kind of felt like I knew you personally with weddings and babies, and events! Her passion was clearly her family, as much as all her other talents. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this very difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss.
