I’ll never forget the weeks that Grandma Carol visited with my family and I in Arkansas. Those are some of my best memories with her, and memories that I will forever cherish and carry in my heart with me. We played board games, and oh my goodness, did we get a kick out of playing UNO. She loved it and we laughed until we cried. We shared so much laughter throughout that time. Grandma also taught me how to bake some of her favorite treats (her signature Oreo balls.) We shared stories about life and grew a lot closer, and in that time during her visit I realized what a sweet, beautiful soul she had. Grandma honestly had a glowing kind of beauty about her. She was soft-spoken and very kind, and she will be missed by me and by everyone who knew her. I know she’s at peace now, but my heart is with the whole Cooley family during this loss. I love all of you.

Grandma Carol was one of the sweetest, most loving people I have ever met. I feel so honored to have been a part of her family, which she really was the glue of. I’m so happy that she’s not longer in pain and is smiling down on us from heaven, alongside her old pal Lucky the Pitbull. I can’t wait to see you again Grams, love you so so much. “Lus” ❤
