Mildred M. Long, age 94, of Cambridge died April 21, 2016 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24th at Cambridge Lutheran Church with Pastor Denny Wright officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mildred Maurine Long, “Millie”, was born in Wells, Minnesota on August 18, 1921 to Charles and Clara Giese.
Mildred passed away on April 21, 2016 at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 4 days. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Franklin Long; her son, Kenneth; and daughter, Darlene.
Millie loved her family dearly and is survived by Linda (Al) Cline of Michigan, JoAnn Boylan of Michigan, Charlene (George) Miller of Pennsylvania, Joseph (JoAnn) Long, Jr. of Minnesota, Carol (Greg) DeLine of Minnesota. There was nothing Mildred enjoyed more than her 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She loved playing cards, word search puzzles and watching the Family Feud.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Millie was a precious, gracious lady and Denny and I have good memories of the times we spent with her in small group. We pray the Lord will give you peace in these hard days.
