Ronald John Karlson, age 78, of Cambridge died April 8, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 13th with a time for sharing starting at 1:00 P.M. at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Ronald “Ron” J. Karlson was born August 15, 1937 in Bone Lake, Wisconsin.
Ron passed away April 8, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Karlson; daughter, Rhonda Gail Karlson; and half-brother, Wilfred “Babe” Jennie.
He is survived by loving wife, Donna; children, Kimberly Perry, John (Stacey) Karlson, Tom Karlson; grandchildren, Ashley Karlson and Amy (Drew) Enright; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Melody Karlson; half-brothers, Ellsworth “Butch” (Linda) Jennie; brother-in-law, Jim (Bonnie) Stevens; sister-in-law, Ann Jennie; and by other family and friends.

Ron worked for Top Tool Co for many years as a quality assurance inspector. He worked very hard and helped Top Tool to be successful. He was a very enjoyable person and loved his work. Everyone respected Ron. Ron attended our holiday party last December with Donna. We were very lucky to know him. We will always remember Ron fondly.
