Steven F. Johnson, age 60, of Isanti died April 20, 2016 at home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, APRIL 30th at South Isanti Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Venneman officiating. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Isanti Union Cemetery.
Steven Frank Johnson was born on July 14, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Rubin and Geraldine (Nelson) Johnson. He grew up on a farm in rural Isanti. Steven graduated from Cambridge High School in 1973. Steven was employed with Ford Motor Company for 30 years and retired in 2007. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and woodworker. He had a passion for the outdoors, music, farming and cutting wood.
Steven passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 6 days. He was preceded in death by his father, Rubin Johnson and his wife, Judy (Salisbury) Johnson.
Steven is survived by his mother, Geraldine Johnson; son, Adam (Shay) Johnson, son, Eric Johnson; brother, Michael (Cindy) Johnson, sister, Shawna (Tim) Gleason, brother, Bradley Johnson; grandchildren, Trent and Brooke Johnson and several nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve at such a young age. He is home now. RIP Steve. Prayers for peace and comfort to the family.
