Pat Grover, age 58, of Cambridge died unexpectedly August 3, 2016 at home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 6th at Strike Funeral Home – ISANTI Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating. A visitation will be held from Noon until the service Saturday. Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery.
Patrick Henry Grover was born December 2, 1957 in Richmond, Virginia to William and Ileen (Duenow) Grover. His father was in the Navy which led them to Long Beach, California. They later moved to Mounds View, Minnesota and Pat graduated from Irondale High School. Pat was an excellent swimmer and participated in the MN State swimming tournament and he held many records at Irondale.
Pat Married Valerie (Hoehn) on July 16, 1999. Family was always very important to Pat and he greatly enjoyed time with his kids and grandkids. Pat was a member of Teamsters Local 1145 and worked as a machinist at Honeywell for 38 years. His other interests over the years included playing soccer, deer and grouse hunting with his buddies, motorcycling and snowmobiling, taking trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and listening to Blues music.
Patrick passed away unexpectedly Aug. 3, 2016 at home. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pat will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Valerie; son, Eric (Ashley) Grover; daughter, Katie (Lance) Hirdler; brothers, Mike Grover, Tim (Trish) Grover; sister, Linda (Rick) Busby; grandchildren, Marissa and Caleb; many other relatives and friends.

Pat was my nephew. I Will sorely miss him. But his memory is forever in my mind. I Will never forget the times we all had together as a family.
