LaVern Wayne Krone (“Boon” to friends and family), age 60, of Rush City and formerly of Isanti, died September 29, 2016 at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 5th at North Branch American Legion from 2 pm – 4 pm.
LaVern was born August 31, 1956 in Sisseton, South Dakota to LaVern and Shirley (Brown) Krone. The family lived in Browns Valley, Minnesota until LaVern was nine years old. They then moved to Minneapolis and five years later they moved to Isanti. LaVern graduated from Cambridge High School in 1974. He has made his home in Rush City.
LaVern enjoyed building things, fishing, old-time TV shows and classic country western music. He was known for his sense of humor. He had various occupations and most recently worked at Sven’s Shoes in Chisago City. He was good at cooking and keeping houseplants.
LaVern is survived by his parents, LaVern and Shirley; three sisters: LaVonn Nordeen, Sheryl (Tom) Jones, LaDonna (Steven) Claseman; nieces and nephew: Shawna Hedberg, April Marty, Nicholas Jones, and Alicia Jones; by great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Ann Krone, and David and Edith Brown and by his beloved dog, Due.

So very sorry for the loss of Boone, I always visited my aunt and stopped to say hi to Boone since a teen was a good guy who always had since of humor my kids loved him also, prayers to you all
