Lucille Johnson Ahlman was born on July 6, 1922 to Albert(Pat)Johnson and Viola B. (Lindberg) Johnson. She spent her first years with her parents in Oxford Township, rural Isanti County. They moved to Isanti and she attended Isanti public schools through the 8th grade. She then attended Cambridge High School and graduated in 1940. She met Gilbert Ahlman that same year.
In 1942, she married her true love, Gilbert, of rural Cambridge. They were blessed with one daughter and three sons. They joined the Faith Lutheran Church of Isanti and spent many years as members and workers. One of Lucile’s happiest accomplishments was writing the 100th anniversary book of the church.
In 1980, after Gil retired as an engineer on the Great Lakes, they moved to Mesa, AZ, where they enjoyed 30 years of happy retirement. Gill passed away on Sept. 3 2009. In 2011, Lucille moved back to Minnesota to be near her children.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and one sister along with all Gil’s brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Polly (Jack) Hayes, John (Bonnie) Ahlman, Tom Ahlman, David (Monica)Ahlman. She leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a lot of friends.

Dear Pauly Ann, John, Tom , David & Family,s
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mother was a very wonderful and lovely lady and will be missed very much. I have a lot of good memories with your dad, mother and four of you. Now all of the aunts, uncles and mothers and dads are gone on the Ahlman side of the family. I’m sure they are all having a great time together. Wish I didn’t live so far away and could be with all of you.
Love & Hugs
