So sorry to hear of Lenny’s passing. We had fun going to fly-in over the years. I enjoyed having him land his plane at our house and I flew over to his strip to visit. He will be missed.

Very sorry to hear about Lenny’s passing. We shared many stories. Lenny, you definitely used all of life’s runway.

I will miss driving through the airport gate, seeing Len’s white van parked outside his hangar and the ensuing “hangar flying” that always followed. Blue skies, smooth air and tailwinds Len as you continue your journey. With deepest condolences to the Nolden family.

Lenny My Friend,
Thank-you for being our “Airport Watch Person”. I think you were at the airport almost everyday.
Thank-you for the motorcycle trips to the casino at Hinckley. We were suppose to spend $20.00 at the
Black Jack Table on each trip!!!! Yehh right!!!???
I had my Harley and you had your Honda and that was okay !
My Black Lab, Bullet, will miss you out at the farm. He will miss playing catch with you.
Thank-you for informing me all about your Kit Fox and Sport Cruiser.
I watched you during “take-offs” and “landings” in your Kit Fox in some bad cross winds…
But, you did have a lot of practice in your over “1000” miles of flight time.
I have friends, but then there was my “Best Friend Lenny”.
Thank-You for the memories.. now you fly high in the sky …

So sorry to hear about this. We had no idea. We knew him as “Spud”. He used to come to visit his sister, Lorraine Looney at Elk Lake out of Zimmerman on his motorcycle. We always enjoyed his visits. I was Lorraine’s step daughter, Bev, and remember babysitting for him and Mona during the summer. I’m sure you will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
