Kristine Ann Jordet, age 56, of Coon Rapids and formerly of Cambridge, died January 14, 2017 at home. A private family graveside will be held in the spring at Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery.
Kristine was very much a part of the class of 79 she had a special place in our hearts. I lost track of her several years ago but thought of her often. She will be missed
Kristen also was a classmate of mine, class of 1979. She always happy and had something to share with us. I gave her rides some times when she was in Cambridge and needed a ride home. She was at one of our reunions and I know she had fun and loved everyone. Sorry to hear of her passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers!! God Bless!!!
I was lucky enough to help care for Kris for over eight years. She was a hoot!
We used to talk about her youth, her likes and dislikes, and the trouble she got into and laugh. Sometimes I would bring in food that she and I both liked, sardines, pickled pigs feet and her favorite, lefse.
She greeted me every morning with a loud “YeeHawww!” because she said it made me happy. She was right, it did.
The last time I saw Kris was Christmas Eve. We ate lefse with butter and sugar and drank coffee. When I left we hugged as friends do and I told her I loved and cared about her. She told me I was her favorite as she always did. I will cherish the small art projects she insisted I have.
Kris and I graduated together, she had a wonderful personality. Kris always greeted everyone she meet, what a great smile such a warm welcome. She was a asset to our class, and cared about by many. So sorry of her passing, God sure got a happy soul. Prayers to your family.
