Elizabeth “Noel” Krantz took her last breaths the evening of January 10, 2017, at the age of 84. She went peacefully from the comfort of her own home, as she wanted it to be. Noel was born on December 26, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. As a baby, Noel was adopted by Harlan and Verda Church. They traveled by train to bring her home to MN, settling in White Bear Lake. On July 23, 1955, at the age of 23, she married Richard LeRoy Krantz. They began their own life in White Bear Lake, eventually settling in Isanti, MN in 1972 with their daughter and 3 sons. Noel was devoted to her family. She spent her time being a wife, mother, and homemaker. Noel had many hobbies as well. She loved to bowl, and participated in many out of state tournaments. She had a passion for antiquing and doll collecting, which she shared with her daughter Deborah. She also collected bells, salt and pepper shakers, and spoons. Noel loved to crochet and knit, leaving behind her hard work in many blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, and puzzles in her spare time. Noel will be greatly missed by family and friends.
