Julie Nyberg Hunter Fust, age 51, of Pine City and formerly of Cambridge, passed away February 16, 2017 at home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 21st at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel. At time for visiting will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the service Tuesday.
Julie (Nyberg-Hunter) Fust was preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Janice Nyberg, and step father Dale Rieck. Julie is survived by husband, Michael; sons, Zain and Beau; step daughters, Amie and Holly; granddaughters, Alyssa, Kailee and Gabriella; sister, Penny (Barry) Dahlin; brother, Rob (Julie) Rieck; nieces, Holly, Erica and Jenna; nephew, Alex; along with a special friend Kathy.
Julie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Julie loved her job as a server at Running Aces, watching her sons wrestle, trick/or treating with her granddaughters, rocking out to Stimulus Package, shopping trips to the casino, and spending time at the lake home. Julie was loving, thoughtful, funny and lived life to the fullest. Her family and friends were the center of her heart and life. She will be deeply missed by many.
So sorry to hear about Julie. All of you are in our prayers.
She was so tired and God was calling her home. Julie has touched so many and will be missed by all. RIP Julie. Hugs and prayers to all getting through this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear this. I had many fun times playing with Julie and Penny growing up in “Gopherville” the neighborhood. May God’s love surround your family.
