Darlene Delores Linge was born to Glenn and Rose (Motl) Dennis in Owatonna, Minnesota on September 16, 1933. On March 9, 1953 she married Robert L. Linge. Up until June 2016, she worked part-time at a golf course close to her home in Ham Lake. She liked to socialize with her friends and family. Going to coffee, getting her hair done, sitting in the community room at her residence and taking a bus trip to the casino were some of her favorites. Darlene also kept in touch with typed or hand written letters to many acquaintances both new and from the past. She also loved to send cards for birthdays to many. In earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and went to state and national tournaments. Darlene will be missed but leaves us with many memories both past and present.
Darlene passed away March 5, 2017 at Hennepin County Medical Center after suffering a massive stroke at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 17 days.
Darlene is survived by her four children, Denise Vickstrom (Jeff), Dawn (Brian) Griep, David Linge, Daryl (Peggy) Linge; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.
