Kenneth Arthur Carlson, age 77, of East Bethel died at home March 31, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 3rd at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Oak Leaf Cemetery in East Bethel.
Kenneth Arthur Carlson was born June 19, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Clifford and Dorothy (Christensen) Carlson. He was raised and attended school in the Minneapolis area. On November 5, 1960 he was united in marriage to Joan Webber and they made their home in East Bethel. Ken worked as a driver for UPS for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. After retiring he worked part time at Northland Screw Products. Ken enjoyed going out for breakfast, occasionally at one of his favorite pancake places “Family Traditions” in Cloquet. He loved fishing and cards. He enjoyed playing Cribbage with friends at Bill’s Barber Shop in St. Francis. Ken was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Ken passed away March 31, 2017 at home at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 12 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and in 2013 his wife, Joan
He will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Laurie (Chris) Nelson, Shelly Carlson, and Eric (Michelle) Carlson; 7 grandchildren, Krisi, Kenny, Kadi, Jeremy, Thomas, Payton and Austin; 5 great-grandchildren, Caydence, Christian, Brayden, Adena and Brooklyn; and his loving dog, Zoey
