Marie Dietrich, age 82, of Anoka died at her home on April 17, 2017. The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, April 22nd at our Isanti location. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service on Saturday.
Marie Alice Dietrich was born September 13, 1934 in Minneapolis to Elmer and Millie (Eccles) Quam. She was raised and lived her early years in Minneapolis. Marie Married Darrell Dietrich on October 12, 1952. They made their home in Anoka for the past 40 years. Marie loved her family and all of the family activities and she loved unconditionally. She enjoyed going up north, fishing but only on calm days, going to the casino where she liked to break even. Marie even learned to do Facebook to keep up with the “goings on”. Her favorite saying was “What Will Be Will Be”. Marie was lovingly cared for in her home by her granddaughter Crystal and great-granddaughter Hannah and this allowed her to stay in her own home.
Marie passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on April 17, 2017 at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 4 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; son, Jerry; Grandson, Joe; 3 brothers, Wilbur, Allan and Ed; 3 sisters, Alice, Pearl and Flossie. She is survived by 6 daughters, Sandra (Tom) Haskin, Sue (Daryl) Heikes, Becky (Tom) Kostreba, Judy Thompson, Cindy Fickle, Wanda Dietrich; 14 Grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.
