She enjoyed tuna melts, butter on almost everything, Oreos, Bit-O-Honey’s, Snickers, Crunch-n-Munch, warm Pepsi, herring, lefse, lutefisk and Swedish meatballs. She gave generously and sacrificially without a second thought.

My heart is so sadden today lost a good friend yesterday. Bobby Mccarthy passed away yesterday morning. She was the most giving and kindest person I have ever know. She had the greatest smile and never talked negatively about anyone. Let me tell you she played a mean gave of hand and foot, We swear she had a horseshoe up her you know what. That girl always won! She was always making things and giving to her friends this gave her lots of joy. We will miss you so much Bobbie! Every time i am working in my flower bed I will think of you and know you are looking down watching everything I am doing. You never did get to see my new place and all my flowers but now you can see them from heaven! RIP Bobbie!!!

Such a very tragic loss of very sweet woman. I feel like I’ve known her forever even though it has mostly been vicariously through her wonderful family. There was something about her that just drew me in. She was always willing to give me a hug even though she probably thought I was a little odd for asking :) Sending prayers to the family.

Bobbie was a very dear friend. She saw the beauty in everyone and everything.
We spent many days together hiking, garage and thrift shopping. We would share our new treasure sometimes she bought for me or me for her. We never had enough books or magazines to page through looking for the next great idea.
Bobbie commented many times how she admired the handy work of God in all things around her.
My heart aches for my the loss of my dear friend a lovely lady inside and out.
Love you Bobby. Miss you

Bobbie and I shared so many good times together planting beautiful vegetable and flower gardens at the Calhoun Apartments, sharing food with others, fishing all over the countryside, making crafts and garage sailing. She took me under her wing and truly taught me so much about life. I can attribute so many things that I cherish today because of her. Sending sincere condolences to Bobbie’s family and friends. She was an inspiration to many.

I remember when Bobbie joined our class at Alberta. We were excited to have a new classmate since there were so few of us. She won us over with those twinkling eyes and winning smile!
Wonderful things often come in small packages…Bobbie is one of those packages!
She leaves your family , friends and yes even her classmates with lessons on how we should all live.
Our prayers are with you.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of “our” Mom, sincerely she showed love and care to everyone she met. I am blessed to have met her and discover where Lori gets her spunk😆. I know your love for her, each other, the support from friends and family will embrace, comfort and strenthen as you remember every wonderful moment of her life. And realize that it continues, even in her absence. I love and admire you all.

Bobbie’s family has my deepest sympathy. I have fond memories of her when she would come to Chokio and visit her parents. I enjoyed visiting with her whenever she came into Bev’s Superette. She always had me laughing when she left the store.
Sister Margaret says
Please let Bobbie’s family know how much we miss her. She always came to our garage sales bringing new plants for the flowers gardens here at Lil Farm Children’s Home. If she spotted any empty spot in the gardens she returned home and found another plant to place there.
We wondered why she did not come this spring to visit the garage sale and when we read the paper we knew. Our prayers to her family.
