Wanda Robyn, age 71, of Isanti died at her home on July 1, 2017. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 P.M. on Friday, July 7th at our CAMBRIDGE location. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Wanda Lea Robyn was born August 31, 1945 in Braham to Arnold and Clara (Drost) Ringler. She was raised on a farm near Mora and graduated from Mora High School, Class of 1963. Wanda attended Beauty School in Minneapolis and then worked at a beauty shop in Apache Plaza until her marriage. She married Dennis Robyn on October 11, 1965. Dennis was in the Navy and they made their first home in San Diego, California. After his military service they moved to Coon Rapids and then in 1976 they moved to Isanti. Wanda worked in a beauty shop in Bethel and then in Blaine. She worked at a bank in Spring Lake Park transferring later to a bank in Coon Rapids. Wanda then worked for the Cambridge Star from 1994 – 2002.
Wanda enjoyed working puzzles, reading the local newspaper and traveling in their motorhome. She enjoyed country music and trips to Branson, Missouri and going to Midwest Country in Sandstone. She loved spending time with her grandaughter teaching her card games and completing word finds.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Dennis of Isanti; children, Roxanne Robyn of Ham Lake, Todd (Kelly) Robyn of Isanti; granddaughter, Sophie Robyn of Isanti; and by many other relatives and friends.

My sincere condolences for this loss to the entire family. I know Wanda will be missed, but never forgotten. Having the privilege of be entwined with the Robyn family for 30+ years because of Roxanne has been a true blessing for me, I will miss Wanda, but she will remain in my heart always. My sympathy and prayers are with the Robyn family at this time of sadness.
